Based in Huntington Beach, CA, School Construction Compliance, LLC was formed in early 2003 from a desire to assist awarding bodies in complying with the newly enacted California Assembly Bill 1506. AB 1506 requires all school and community college districts to develop and implement a Labor Compliance Program in order to receive new construction and modernization funds from the State.

In order to properly provide its clients with accurate and efficient service, SCC developed proprietary software that automates the provision of LCP services. This software allows SCC to manage and analyze large volumes of data associated with implementing an LCP, as well as create reports requested by the client or a labor organization. By automating LCP services, SCC can eliminate human error, identify underpayments and other anomalies, and reduce the cost of LCP services.

Within six years, School Construction Compliance, LLC has grown to have established strong relationships with 50 awarding bodies, and to have successfully administered labor compliance programs on nearly 500 projects with aggregate construction costs totaling nearly $4,000,000,000.
